and here we go again

I think I have tried many things to blog about I've hardly managed to keep a blog with weekly updates. That is why I am giving this blog a try. I am getting tired of all these blogs where people just write about their feelings without actually coming to a conclusion and it is usually just daily rant about life. I can't deny that my previous blogs haven't been like that because they have but I think I am ready to actually take a step out of ranting about how lousy my life is. My life might still be lousy but at least I can try to get other people to get something out of it.

This blog won't cover a specific topic. It will rather cover things happening in the world, my life and other subjects I might find interesting. Hopefully people will find it interesting since it will be a wide blog. At least I'm hoping that my thoughts might interest people and inspire people to some level. As a student I can't promise posts everyday but I can promise you that an update will come as often as possible. I will make an effort to make this blog work.

My first real post will probably end up here on the blog in a couple of days so stay updated and I will try not to disappoint you.

The average but enjoyable Gatsby

I don't do film reviews, not because I don't like sharing my experience but because I usually don't have much to say about the films. However, after just finishing second year I feel more confident and I also actually have opinions about the Great Gatsby so I hereby introduce my first film review. I finished reading The Great Gatsby about 2 months ago and when I read it is was only for my own sake which meant that I probably didn't pay as much attention to the details as I would have done if it was for school as many people had too. However I think the film managed to stay quite accurate to the book. There were scenes in the film that probably could have been made shorter and some needed more explanations to make the audience understand what they actually contribute. I guess this is a problem with all film adaptations of books. It is impossible to get all the details in the book to fit into a film, especially when films nowadays very rarely are longer than 2 hours a...

Our lives exposed online

I am born in the generation where people don't know what lives were without colour TV, a computer in every home and internet. Some of us might remember when you couldn't be on the phone at the same time as you were online but to be honest, the only reason why I know about it is because my older siblings have told me about it. This has created a society for my generation where we communicate with people all around the world and often with people we don't even know. I know many of us like to think that we are friends with everyone on facebook but quite frankly, we don't. There are a lot of people we haven't talked to since primary school or people we just have on facebook because we enjoy stalking them.
