Gender neutrality

In Sweden there has a been a long debate about gender neutrality. It has even gone to that point where they've made up a name that is gender neutral the so called "hen" which is a mix between hon (she) and han (him). The reason for this is that some people might not see themselves as a man and a woman and it should therefore be something that isn't specific to a gender. I think that this has been taken too far. The problem isn't what they are called, the problem is that people consider being female or male. Even though you feel like a man inside your biological gender is still something you can't change without a proper sex change. I don't think it's wrong to feel trapped in a body of the wrong gender but I think that we need to stop making it to being a problem and instead work on removing the view of stereotypes about gender. The reason for me raising this topic now is because of my high school. Sodra Latin has decided to build a gender neutral cha

Biting, kissing and other things we shouldn't have to see.

Football is suppose to be a friendly game with one pitch, 2 teams, 22 players and thousands of people in the audience cheering on their favourite team. At least that is what a naive person would think. What they don't understand is that football isn't like that at all. If you've never been to a football game it might be difficult to understand but it is actually more like there is a gladiator game going on on the field and the people aren't cheering, they are usually singing rude songs about the opponents. There is a whole culture around the pitch and it is quite common for fans to get into fights with each other. It's far from all the fans but a fan often gets the label of being a hooligan. I don't have much experience of games in England but in Sweden people go mental during games and even the most well-raised person can sit and start swearing and use rude words that would never come out of his mouth at another time. Personally, I see this as a problem but l

Man vs Food in a whole other meaning.

We live in a society where almost every single home has a TV. Now-a-days there aren't just a few TV channels airing a few hours everyday but hundreds of channels on 24/7 and not just that, we can also access channels from other countries which basically gives us an unlimited access of broadcasting. This has lead to a need of many TV-programs. Usually when things need to be mass-produced it ends up being (sorry for my choice of phrasing) sh*t. There seems to be at least one cooking show and singing competition on every channel which creates TV that is extremely dull at least that is my opinion but for some reason I still choose to watch these programs. One show that has come to my liking is Man vs Food. For those who haven't watched it, it is a man that goes around the world and participates in food challenges where he needs to eat an excessive amount of food. I seem to find some kind of joy in watching this man eating food that could feed at least 5 more people.  I often find
